How to Use the Attendance Template in Google Sheets

Below we outline the steps on how to use our attendance sheet template in Google Sheets:

Step 1: Enter Student Name and ID

Enter the name and ID of each student.

Step 2: Mark Attendance Under the Date Columns

Each column represents each day of the week, except for Saturday and Sunday. Mark attendance with P (Present), A (Absent), L (Late), or E (Excused). 

Step 3:  Add Notes (Optional) 

Use this column to add any relevant notes for a student on a particular day, such as reasons for absence or other observations.
