How to Use the OKR Template in Google Sheets

Below we explain how to use our OKR template in Google Sheets:

1. Objective

Write down the main goal you want to achieve for the period (usually a quarter or a year).

2. Key Results

These should be measurable outcomes that indicate progress towards the objective. Aim for 2-3 key results per objective.

3. Initiatives

These are projects or tasks that you plan to execute to achieve each key result. Break them down into actionable steps.

4. Owner

Assign a team member responsible for leading the initiative and key result.

5. Status

Track your progress (e.g., Not Started, In Progress, Completed) for each key result. 

6. Notes

Use this column for any additional remarks, challenges faced, or adjustments needed.
