2. Access the Chart Insertion Options

Go to the menu and click on "Insert" followed by "Chart".

Google Sheets will automatically suggest a chart type based on the selected data.

3. Select the Appropriate Chart Type for Your Data

With the Chart Editor open on the right side of your screen, go to the "Setup" tab. Here, you have the option to change the chart type, such as bar, line, and pie charts. Choose the one that best represents your data, considering whether your data is quantitative or qualitative, a time series, or requires comparison.

4. Customize the Chart to Fit Your Needs

Switch to the "Customize" tab in the Chart Editor. Here, you can modify various aspects of your chart, including the title, axis labels, series colors, and more.

5. Reposition and Resize Your Chart on the Sheet

Once inserted, you can move your chart to any position within the sheet by clicking and dragging. Resize it by dragging the corners to fit your layout.
