Follow the steps below to copy only visible cells in Google Sheets. 

1. Filter or Hide Unwanted Rows/Columns Before Copying

Apply filters or manually hide rows and columns to display only the cells you wish to copy. In the example below, we will hide column B by right clicking the column and selecting "Hide column".

2. Select Only the Cells You Want to Copy

Click and drag or use 'Ctrl' (Cmd on Mac) to select multiple non-adjacent ranges of cells you intend to copy.

3. Copy the Visible Cells Using 'Edit' Menu or Shortcut Keys

With cells selected, click 'Edit' > 'Copy', or use Ctrl+C (Cmd+C on Mac) to copy the selected range.

4. Open Destination and Paste Data

Navigate to the Google Sheet or another application where you intend to paste the copied cells. Click to select the start cell. Go to 'Edit' > 'Paste special' to see more pasting options. Select 'Paste Values Only' or 'Paste Format Only' to Exclude Hidden Data.
