How to Share Google Forms With Respondents

Google Forms provides several sharing options for your respondents. First, find the "Send" button at the top right of your Google Form editor and click on it.

Via Email

Google Forms allows you to send the form directly to respondents' email addresses from within the platform. You can add email addresses, a subject, and a message. The recipients then receive an email with a link to the form.

1. Select the Email Tab.

Click on the envelope or mail icon to choose the email method. By default, you should already be here.

2. Fill in the Email Details.

In the provided fields, enter the email addresses of your intended recipients, specify a subject for your email, and, if desired, add a personalized message.

3. Send the Form.

After ensuring all details are correct, click the "Send" button. The form link will then be emailed to the specified recipients.

Via Link

You can generate a unique link to your form, which can be shared directly with respondents. They can simply click on this link to access and answer the form.

1. Choose the Link Tab.

In the send options, click on the link icon. It looks like a chain or a link.

2. Shorten URL (Optional).

You can decide if you want to shorten the URL by toggling the "Shorten URL" option.

3. Copy the Generated Link.

Click the "Copy" button to copy the link to your clipboard. You can now share this link with your respondents through any medium.

Embed on a Website

Google Forms provides an embed code (an iframe) that you can place on a website or blog. Anyone visiting that webpage can then fill out the form directly from there:

1. Select the "< >" Embed Icon.

In the send options, click on the embed icon.

2. Adjust Embed Settings.

Determine the width and height of the embedded form as it will appear on your website.

3. Copy the Embed Code.

Click on the "Copy" button to copy the iframe embed code to your clipboard.

4. Paste the Embed Code on Your Website.

Go to your website's editor or content management system and paste the copied iframe code where you want the form to appear. The form will then be embedded and accessible directly from that webpage.

These steps should provide a clear guide for each sharing method. Remember to adjust settings and review your form before sharing to ensure it appears and functions as intended.
