PayPal in Google Forms: How to Accept Payments (2023 Update)
In this article, we will show you how to add PayPal in Google Forms in just a few clicks. Simply follow the steps below.
Can I Add PayPal to Google Forms?
Currently, Google Forms does not natively support payment processing, including PayPal. Users who want to collect payments through a Google Form typically need to use third-party add-ons or simply add their PayPal payment link.
Add PayPal to Google Forms Using a PayPal Payment Link
You can create a PayPal payment link directly from your PayPal account. Include this link in your Google Form, either at the end of the form or in a follow-up email after the form is submitted. You can instruct respondents to click the link to complete their payment after submitting their form responses.
Here’s how to do it:
1. Log into PayPal.
Go to PayPal's website and log in with your credentials. Create a Payment Request.
2. Copy your PayPal.Me link.
Create a personal link if you haven't already. This link stays the same and can be used multiple times. Copy your PayPal. Me link from your personal profile.
3. Add the PayPal link to your Form.
Go back to your Google Form. Decide where you want the payment link to appear in your form. Common placements include:
At the end of the form in a new section that provides payment instructions.
In the description of the form for immediate visibility.
As part of a confirmation message that appears after a form is submitted.
4. Preview your form and test the link.
It’s important to ensure that the link works as expected. Preview the form by clicking the eye icon in the top right corner, go to the section with the PayPal link, and test it.
Here’s what the form should look like:
Add PayPal to Google Forms Using an Add-On
1. Click on the three vertical dots at the top-right corner for more options.
While in Google Forms, navigate to the top right of the screen for the three vertical dots and click on it. In the menu, you should see an option that says, “Get add-ons.” Click on this to open the Google Workspace Marketplace.

Once in the Google Workspace Marketplace, you can use the search bar to look for PayPal-related add-ons by typing “PayPal” into the search field and pressing enter.
3. Select and install a PayPal integration add-on.
From the list of search results, review the options and select an add-on that serves your needs. For the purpose of this guide, we chose Payable Forms. Click on the chosen add-on to access its details page. Click the “Install” button.
You will be prompted to grant the add-on permissions to integrate with your Google Forms and other necessary Google services.
4. Navigate to the “Add-ons” menu and select your add-on.
After installation, go back to your Google Form and find the new add-on in the “Add-ons” menu (puzzle icon). Here, we have “Payable Forms.”
5. Configure the add-on settings.
Launch the add-on and connect to PayPal. This may vary depending on your chosen add-on. With Payable Forms, you simply need to click on “Connect a Payment Provider” from the sidebar.
Choose either PayPal Standard or PayPal Commerce Platform. A new pop-up window should appear. Simply follow the provided instructions to link your PayPal account and configure your form accordingly.
