Send a Google Form to a Large Group

Google Forms can be sent to a large group using two effective methods: sending directly via email and sharing through a generated link. We will discuss how to use each method in the following sections.

Method 1: Send Directly via Email to Recipients

Follow the steps below to send a google form to a large group via direct email.

1. Open the "Send" Menu to Access Sharing Options

Once your form is complete, open the "Send" menu to access sharing options. This button is usually in the top right corner of the form.

It allows you to send the form through email, link, or social media. Choose the option that best fits your needs.

3. Check the Box to Include the Form in the Email

Make sure to check the box that says "Include form in email" if you want recipients to see the form directly in the email. This makes it easier for them to respond right away.

4. Click "Send" to Share the Form with Your Recipients

Once everything looks good, click "Send" to share the form with your recipients directly.

5. Click the "Responses" Tab to Track Responses

After sending the form, click the "Responses" tab in your Google Form to view how many people have filled it out and their answers. You can also export the data to a Google Sheet for further analysis.

Method 2: Generate and Share the Form Link with Others

Follow the steps below to send a google form to a large group via link sharing.

1. Open the "Send" Menu to Access Sharing Options

Once your form is complete, open the "Send" menu to access sharing options. This button is usually in the top right corner of the form.

It allows you to send the form through email, link, or social media. Choose the option that best fits your needs.

2. Generate and Copy the Form Link for Sharing

In the "Send" menu, click the chain-link icon to generate a link.

You can shorten the link by checking the "Shorten URL" box. Click "Copy" to copy the link to your clipboard.

3. Ctrl + V to Paste the Form Link

To share via email, first click the "Insert link" icon (chain icon) in the email editor.

Then, paste the copied link (Ctrl + V) into the field and click "OK."

To share the link via a messaging app, simply paste the link (Ctrl + V) into any chat or message thread.

4. Click the "Responses" Tab to Track Responses

After sharing the link, click the "Responses" tab in your Google Form. Here you can see how many people have filled out the form and view their answers. You can also export the data to a Google Sheet for further analysis.
