Google Sheets Revert to Previous Version

Follow the steps below to revert to the previous version of Google Sheets. 

1. Go to "File" > "Version history" > "See version history"

Go to the top menu and click on "File." Then select "Version history" and click on "See version history."

2. Scroll Through and Find the Desired Version in History Panel

On the right side of the screen, you'll see the version history. Each entry is marked with a date and time.

3. Click to Preview the Version Before Restoring

Click on any version to preview it. The sheet will show you what it looked like at that specific date and time.

4. Select "Restore This Version" for the Chosen Date

Find the version you want to revert to and click on it. Then, click "Restore this version" which is usually at the top of the version history panel.

5. Confirm Your Choice to Revert to Selected Version

A prompt will appear asking for confirmation to restore the version. Click "Yes" or "Restore" to proceed.

6. Check Your Sheet to Ensure Correct Version Restoration

Check your sheet to make sure it has reverted to the version you selected.
