How to Make a Flowchart in Google Sheets

Follow the steps below to create the Google Sheets Flowchart.

1. Open the Drawing Tool

On your current sheet, click the Insert menu then go to Drawing. This will open the drawing window of Google Sheets.

2. Create Shapes for Your Flowchart

Use shapes like rectangles, ovals, and connecting arrows or lines from the drawing tool to build the Google Sheet flowchart. These shapes represent each step in your process. For example, rectangles are commonly used for tasks, ovals represent the start or end of a process, and arrows show the flow or direction between steps.

3. Label Your Flowchart Shapes

Double-click each shape to add short labels. You can also format these texts by using the upper right section of the menu.

4. Arrange and Adjust the Flowchart Layout
