What is a Digital Marketing Reports Dashboard?

A digital marketing reports dashboard is a tool used by marketers to track key performance indicators from multiple marketing channels such as google adwords, facebook and social media campaigns in one centralized location.

Why should you use one?

  1. Track Marketing Performance- See the performance of all of your marketing channels in one centralized dashboard.
  2. Automatic Client Reports - Marketing agencies and freelancers spend a lot of time communicating with clients and sharing reports. By giving them a link to your dashboard you can automate the entire process!
  3. One Click Data Imports: Pull in data from facebook, google, shopify, woocommerce, magento, klaviyo and more at the click of a button.
  4. Visualize Real-Time Data - Visualize real-time data and keep track of all aspects of your campaign performance.
  5. Alerts you to sudden changes and issues - besides technical issues, you can use it to note sudden changes in user behavior and act accordingly.
  6. Make Better Decisions - Helps companies visualize their real time data so they can draw key insights and keep track of KPIs.

Most common KPIs to include

Some of the most important marketing metrics that should be included are the following:

How to create your Dashboard with Lido

It is easy to create a dashboard using Lido. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Create Lido Account

Sign up with your email or through Google authorization.

Step 2: Connect data sources to Lido

Clicking Data on the upper-left corner of Lido to select the source.

Follow the instructions on entering access info and selecting the data columns to import in the Dataset Editor. Once you have finished selecting your data, click Save dataset & edit view in the top right corner.  The data is now loaded to your Lido spreadsheet.

Step 3: Set up a dashboard

To set up the dashboard, you need to do two things. First is to set up the formulas for the metrics you want to include. The formulas generally work just like in Google Sheets.

After loading the data, click the Dashboard on the top of the Lido spreadsheet, then click the Components tab on the right side. Drag-and-drop components and add data to them.

Once you have finished constructing your digital report, click Preview on the upper-right corner to see how it will look once deployed.

If you are satisfied, click Share to share your real-time reports with others!
